Administrative Assistant
The position
Looking for a rewarding professional challenge? You’ve come to the right place! Ecce Terra, land surveyors, one of the largest surveying firms in Quebec, is looking for a drafting assistant to join its team in Sherbrooke. Working alongside our land surveyors, you will help prepare legal documents and follow up on surveying mandates.
Responsibilities
- Analyze and interpret various technical and legal information to draft certificates of location, technical descriptions, and boundary determination minutes;
- Make corrections requested by land surveyors and ensure the quality of produced documents;
- Follow up on files with professionals, colleagues, and clients;
- Prepare billing, finalize files, and send documents to clients;
- Ensure the archiving of legal documents in accordance with established procedures.
Desired qualifications
- Training in paralegal technology, office technology, or a relevant field, or equivalent experience in drafting and file management;
- Excellent command of written French and the Microsoft Office suite;
- Rigour, thoroughness, strong organizational skills, and attention to detail;
- Autonomy, professionalism, and ability to collaborate easily with various stakeholders;
- Ability to manage multiple files simultaneously and meet deadlines.
